Candidates

Who is funding the 2026 field. Pick a candidate to follow the money: where their itemized donors live, who they work for, how the money arrives and which committees chip in.

Currently running = 2026 election-year House and Senate candidates the FEC lists as statutory candidates (status C) whose principal or authorized campaign committee received at least one itemized individual contribution in the 2026 cycle. FEC filings don’t record primary results, so candidates who lost a 2026 primary or withdrew can still appear (check “last gift”).

Data caveats

Itemized contributions only: FEC bulk individual-contribution files for the 2024 and 2026 cycles (generally gifts aggregating over $200 per election, plus every gift processed by ActBlue/WinRed). Unitemized small gifts, candidate self-funding, loans and joint-fundraising transfers are not included, so totals are below what campaigns report. Directory figures are 2026-cycle. “Small-$” = itemized gifts under $200; in/out-of-state uses the donor’s reported address. PAC/party contributions and outside spending come from the FEC committee-to-candidate file.
